with smelly streets,spider webs and dreadful security,it is the slum of rio,a forgotten place.fortunately,sports lightened it. a noticeable mark of this slum is the court for badminton.about 200 boys and girls come here to practice badminton on every training day.yogg was just one of them.a couple of years ago,badminton was introduced to yogg for the first time.since then,yogg was obsessed with badminton and he said: everytime when i play badminton,i feel like i were a badminton,which could fly out of the slum! and yes,he did it!the sports carried him far away from guns,drugs and alcohol.he successfully participated in the badminton game of the olympics this year.sports saved him.
thats the sports miracle to change an individual. but more than that,sports can change the world as well.
in the year 1971, beijing received a special group of people.they are the ping-pong players and journalists from america. several
